“If Minor Threat‘s Ian Mackaye did drugs you’d have something close to Ben Franklin.” – Rocker Tycoon

Brooklyn, this Friday

We are finally coming back to Brooklyn, this Friday the 21st of January, to play the ignominious DIY space Party Xpo, out on Broadway. The show is being thrown by the good folks at Black Sheep, a DIY, pro-indie music production group. They gave Ben Franklin it’s first proper show ever, at Cake Shop, so we jumped at the chance to do another show with them. This one is ALL AGES, so we hope you can make it, gonna be riotous. There’s a Facebook event with more info and links to the other great bands playing right here. We’re on at 10pm. Don’t bring any booze to this place!

In Other News…

The Killing Horse Records anniversary party at Maxwell’s was quite a hoot, and the Rocker Tycoon gave us and the other performers a great review along with pics over here.

We’ve finally submitted our masters for the Urgency 7″ to Killing Horse. Very exciting. We should be just in time to have the vinyl pressed by the release show on Feb 25th.  We’re really picky, so this is a major accomplishment, publishing four songs! We’re learning our process, working out the tooling, and this is just the start, we have a lot of material on deck in addition to what’s already been recorded for the next record.

So now it’s time for us to start bothering people we don’t know to check it all out and get them amped. We are like Anonymous: Expect Us!
